Our history and current activity

We have started our business since 1921 at Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture, as the wooden shuttle maker for textile weaving industry. Even at this new century, we are remaining as wooden shuttle maker for some specific application area like silk weaving. 
Original name of our company  under IZUMI SHUTTLE MFG was renamed into new name as IZUMI CORP since 1991 to cope with the new business style as of now.

During 1980, we knew we should reorganize our activity to cope with new market trend which use air or water as driving force for textile weaving. Our main target was to introduce the competitive accessories into our market by importing the world famous brand products. Also, we expanded our market into overseas.  

So now, our market is not only for Textile but also for many areas too.
